Naomi was born August 27, 1922 in Pennsboro, WV, a daughter of the late John Henry and Metta A. (Farrell) Jones. She spent her life as a loving homemaker for her family and also worked at the former Myles Manufacturing of Pennsboro, WV. She was a member of the Beason United Methodist Church and she greatly enjoyed playing Bingo. She loved being with family and Naomi was instrumental in the lives of each of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Howard William Hornish; children, Floyd Eugene Hornish (Linda) of Pennsboro, WV; Dana William Hornish (Jill) of Ellenboro, WV; Danny Christopher Hornish of Pennsboro, WV; Beverly Sue Hornish of Pennsboro, WV; Connie Lynn Wince (Bill) of Culloden, WV; Max Lee Hornish (Kathy) of Ellenboro, WV, and Melanie Beth Hornish of McKenney, TX; 14 grandchildren along with several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and her sister Maxine Ingram of Newark, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Floyd Jones, Evelyn Ash, Lena Gattrell, and Ruth Holtz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the RCHS Band.
Private services for Naomi will be held at the convenience of the family. McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, WV is assisting the family with the arrangements.
